We equip young people, especially women, with AI skills for the future and partner with communities across Nigeria to organize collective action, influence policy, and build locally driven solutions for climate and social justice.
The People’s Project is a Nigerian nonprofit committed to community-driven action, accountable governance, and responsible technology.
Our work spans education, youth development, climate justice, civic engagement, and ethical innovation. To date, we have reached more than 150,000 people across urban, rural, and crisis-affected communities in Nigeria and beyond.

We work alongside women, young people, and marginalized groups to design solutions, build capacity together, and use ethical technology in service of community priorities. Through skills, knowledge, civic accountability, and policy engagement, we turn lived experience into lasting systems change – led by the people who know what their communities need most.
Across Africa, climate breakdown, weak governance, and exclusion from decision-making continue to restrict access to education, livelihoods, and essential public services. In Nigeria, we work alongside the women, young people, persons with disabilities, and marginalized communities who carry the heaviest burden, despite contributing the least to these crises.

We gather evidence, surface barriers, and share insights that shape better programs and policies.
We grow leaders and run programs that turn evidence into action – through fellowships, capacity building, and direct community work.
We build ethical AI and civic tools that help communities, partners, and decision-makers do their work better – from data collection to program delivery.
